Agrupamento de Escolas de Nelas
The Agrupamento de Escolas de Nelas (Nelas School Group) brings together a number of schools from pre-school up to 12th grade. In this group of schools, we have given over several years, priority to the construction of a school of excellence and reference, with a strong emphasis on intervention with students with special educational needs and gifted students. One of the reference projects, not only in our group but also at a regional and national level, is the Project Investing in Capacity (http://www.edufor.pt/aenelas-pic/), which received a very positive reference from the last team evaluation of schools, who attributed ‘Very Good’ in all parameters evaluated in our School Group.
Every year, there are training in various areas of special educational needs or giftedness, spurred by experts in the field.
The Protugese Weather Station is up and running.
